CensusAtSchool Wins Best Cooperative Project in Statistical Literacy
CensusAtSchool, run by the Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education (RSSCSE), was named Best Cooperative Project in Statistical Literacy by the International Association of Statistical Education and the International Statistical Literacy Project.
Presented to the RSSCSE AtSchool projects’ leader, Kate Richards, during the 59th International Statistical Institute World Statistical Congress in Hong Kong, a citation states the accolade was given “in recognition of an outstanding, innovative, and influential statistical literacy project that affects a broad segment of the general public and is fruit of the cooperation of different types of institutions”.

New scheme of exciting CPD sessions for 2013 and 2014
Each session can last between one to two hours and will cost £100 plus the cost of travel (and accommodation if applicable) for one of the team to visit your school.
Between them the sessions cover Key Stages 3 to 5 and include the very best cross-curricular AtSchool resources, allowing you to pick from one of 4 different projects or create a custom session including resources from across the projects.
