Data Handling - Project KS2
During the early part of 2010 Ceri Speed from Cwrt Rawlin Primary School, South Wales paid us a visit and developed some new Primary Resources based on work carried out at Cwrt Rawlin.
The resources are based on a 'child lead’ Key Stage 2 project called ‘How green is your locality?’ Ceri writes:
“The Key Stage 2 activity provided has been tried and tested in a Year 6 classroom in a Welsh primary school.
The activity takes the format of a ‘child lead’ project to engage children in early statistics and data handling in a meaningful context.
The activity contains teacher notes, presentation materials and pupil worksheets. In addition to the lesson material, real data can be downloaded to provide your pupils with results to use and compare."
