A three, one hour activity to explore the use of data within the historical context of the Industrial Revolution.  Learners are asked to compare the heights of children today to those from 1837.  This resource has a PowerPoint presentation with notes and a pupil worksheet.  (Interpreting data, converting feet and inches to centimetres, interpreting and plotting time series graphs, reporting results.)
