CensusAtSchool Partners
CensusAtSchool is an international project with partners and sister projects in various countries.
CensusAtSchool is just one part of the AtSchool projects from the Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education which also includes:
- ExperimentsAtSchool - Collecting real data from simple experiments and observational studies. Creating a growing database for use in teaching and project work.
- SportAtSchool - The SportAtSchool Project is coming soon
The following is a list of our international sister sites:
- New Zealand - Details of their CensusAtSchool project which was first run in July/Sept 2003.
- Canada - They launced their CensusAtSchool site on 15th October 2003. Take a look! You can view the site in English or French.
- Australia - Details of their CensusAtSchool project. Launched in 2006.
- Queensland - Details of their CensusAtSchool project. Phase 1 2001and phase 2 2003. Data, results and worksheets all freely available. - watch out for the Gecko! The Queensland project is now part of the Australian CensusAtSchool.
- South Australia - Aimed at 14 - 19 year olds. This site has it's own random data selector and lots of resource ideas. The South Australia project is now part of the Australian CensusAtSchool.
- South Africa - Launched for the first time in 2001 by Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) in collaboration with the Department of Education (DoE).
- Ireland - Ireland became involved in the CensusAtSchool project initiative in 2009.
- Japan - Piloted CensusAtSchool during 2009, the site went live in 2010.
- USA - US CensusAtSchool started as a pilot programme in January 2010
