This article will answer questions pertaining to the copyright, ownership and allowed uses of CensusAtSchool and related resources.
Teachers and Students
Are you asking 'May I copy this?' You may photocopy or reproduce electronically all material on the CensusAtSchool website for use in your classroom. Any copy of these materials shall retain all copyright in the same manner and form as on the original, and include the complete URL www.censusatschool.org.uk as applicable.
In addition teachers may edit and or redraft the material, use text or tables, use extracts and /or vocabulary items. Should this be the case, "Adapted from" must be indicated as such in the source. The source of data generated by the random data selector or taken from tables and graphs must be acknowledged in all documents and communications, including on Internet sites, by providing the following source citation: "Source (or "Adapted from", if appropriate): CensusAtSchool, www.censusatschool.org.uk, and date of extraction" or in the case of material relating more generally to the project "Source (or "Adapted from", if appropriate): The CensusAtSchool Project run by the Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education"

If you wish to include material from CensusAtSchool you should contact us to gain permission to reproduce. This will usually be forthcoming as long as you have an educational aim and are willing to acknowledge us as the source.
